Lhotse is the fourth highest mountain in the world at 8,516 meters. The couloir pictured saw its first ski descent in the Fall of 2018 by professional ski mountaineers Hilaree Nelson and Jim Morrison. Mark captured this image while descending the Southeast Ridge of Everest after a succesful summit while filming a documentary for CNN.
