OUR AWARD-WINNING

CAST OF CHARACTERS

Mark Fisher

Founder & CEO
Director | Director Of Photography | Photographer | Producer

  • Mark Fisher is an internationally recognized, award-winning director, director of photography, and photographer.

As an athlete, former international mountain guide, and avid traveler, Mark thrives in tropical and urban jungles alike, consistently creating decisive, authentically powerful still and motion content that tells stories in ways no one else can.

“I’ve found that the more I expose myself to new experiences, the better I am at creating, finding, and capturing them. That creative flywheel is something I want to share with as many people as I can. The more you uncover the unknown, the more exciting it becomes to think about what other crazy sh*t is possible.”

From leading and documenting history's single most comprehensive scientific expedition to Mount Everest for National Geographic, to directing complex international commercials for companies like CBS in South America, to filming advertising campaigns in the streets of Venice and New York, Mark is comfortable using a myriad of still and motion camera systems and is an FAA certified drone pilot as well as a private pilot.

Mark has worked as a professional storyteller for two decades, masterfully weaving together his passion for the craft with his personal passions for creating adventure, the outdoors, and sucking the marrow out of every opportunity in life.

“My primary goal with Fisher Creative is to not only create truly once-in-a-lifetime stories for our clients, but to create truly transformational experiences on productions for everyone we work with,” says Fisher. “This is what makes exceptional content — and exceptional lives.”

In 2024, Mark was part of a team, including fellow filmmakers Erich Roepke and Jimmy Chin, that helped shed light on one of mountaineering's greatest unsolved mysteries. While filming a National Geographic documentary, the team discovered the partial remains of Andrew “Sandy” Irvine on Mount Everest, missing since 1924 following the first-ever attempt to summit the peak with George Mallory.
